Staff Nurse - Surgical

The Staff Nurse position is a part-time role (24 hours/week, 7am-7:30pm) focused on providing family-centered nursing care requiring specialized knowledge and skills from various sciences.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; demonstrating proficiency in caring for patients of all ages; performing leadership and mentorship duties; ensuring quality improvement and safety; supporting collaboration among staff and providers; utilizing evidence-based practices; and leveraging informatics and technology.

Additional duties may involve temporary assignments across different hospital areas.

Required skills include strong communication, organization, teamwork, and customer service abilities. Experience working with healthcare teams and proficiency in Microsoft Office or electronic medical records are preferred.

Qualifications include a BSN (or obtaining within 5 years), RN licensure in Ohio, Basic Life Support certification, and at least one year of healthcare experience preferred.
