Flanigan Construction is a growing residential construction company serving homeowners and rental property owners throughout the Columbus area. We focus on carpentry, repairs, remodeling, and property improvements with an emphasis on communication, attention to detail, and doing things the right way.
We’re not the biggest company in town, and we’re not trying to be. We take pride in doing quality work, communicating well with customers, and building a reputation that leads to repeat business and referrals. We’re looking for someone who shares those values and wants to be part of that growth.
No two weeks are exactly the same. You may be installing doors and trim, repairing drywall, building a deck, framing a wall, completing punch-list items, or helping with a bathroom remodel. If you enjoy problem-solving and working with your hands, you’ll find plenty of variety here.
What We Offer

What We’re Looking For
- Experience with carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, or handyman work
- Ability to read a tape measure and confidently use hand and power tools
- Someone who can work independently and think through challenges on the job
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-minded
- Professional communication with customers and coworkers
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Typical Projects Include
- Property maintenance and repairs
- Framing and light construction
- Door installation
- Finish carpentry and trim work
- Deck and fence construction and repairs
- Drywall repair and finishing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Basic plumbing fixture replacement
- Basic electrical fixture replacement
- Demolition, site preparation, and cleanup
