Experienced Apprentice Plumber

*Requires 1,500+ hours of hands-on plumbing field experience.

As a Plumbing Apprentice at DFW Home Services, you’ll work alongside licensed plumbers to learn the trade, gain more hands-on experience, and build your knowledge of plumbing systems and residential service and remodeling work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone committed to developing a career in plumbing, with a minimum of 1,500 field hours already completed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist RMP with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks
• Prepare tools and materials for daily jobs and ensure job sites are clean and safe
• Observe and learn diagnostic and troubleshooting techniques
• Support documentation of job details and material usage
• Uphold all safety protocols and assist in maintaining equipment and inventory
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and team members

Qualifications:

• Must be registered as a Plumber’s Apprentice with the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE)
• Must have completed a minimum of 1,500 hours of hands-on plumbing field experience
• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in plumbing
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Adaptable in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills with remodelers and homeowners
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a team-player mindset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
