Occupational Therapist School Setting in Sugar Land, TX

Standard hours are typically 8:00 AM4:00 PM, with occasional variations (7:303:30). This contract position runs the entire academic year, starting August 11, 2026, and ending May 26, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas OT license required
• Previous experience providing school or pediatric therapy services
• COTAs considered if highly qualified with several years in school-based or pediatric settings
• Ability to conduct evaluations and participate in ARD meetings
• Willingness to work in-person and travel between assigned schools in a designated zone
• Must not be a former employee of the district

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, focusing on functional improvements in educational settings
• Manage documentation using SHARES and Onward software, plus maintain Excel logs for IEPs
• Independently structure your therapy schedule according to student needs, typically on a rotating basis
• Participate actively in ARD and IEP meetings, sharing expert recommendations
