Description

The Substitute Teacher will step in and assume the role and responsibilities of the education staff when they are absent from the classroom or need coverage to support them in fulfilling their job responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Reinforce school culture and code of conduct through consistent management of the classroom.
• Arrive at the scheduled time and check-in at the main office, collect classroom keys, attendance rosters, lesson plans, and instructions.
• Follow and abide by all company policies and procedures.
• Assign student classwork and homework.
• Take daily attendance for each class period.
• Complete a daily report and communicate any pertinent information resulting from the day’s events to the Principal.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Degree
• Valid Substitute license or ability to get one
