Position: Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Talent Pool

Job Overview

We are looking for a compassionate hospice aide to provide hands‑on, end‑of‑life care in homes and care facilities in the Metro Detroit market, serving Genesee, Livingston, Macomb/Oakland, and Wayne counties.

Location

Home Office: 24255 W 13 Mile Rd, Suite 210, Bingham Farms, MI 48025

Service Area and Travel

Travel to patient homes and facilities within assigned service area. Flexibility to work across adjacent counties within the service area is required.

Schedule

Full Time:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with weekend rotation

Part Time:

Three weekdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with weekend rotation

Per Diem:

Flexible weekdays, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with weekend rotation

What You’ll Do

  • Travel to patient homes and facilities within the assigned service area
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
  • Support safe transfer, ambulation, positioning, and comfort measures
  • Assist with meals, hydration, and basic care‑related homemaking
  • Take and document vital signs as directed
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Follow individualized hospice care plans while adapting to assignment changes and varying care environments
  • Document care provided and communicate professionally with patients, families, facility personnel, and the care team

Qualifications

  • Current certification as a nurse aide and in good standing on the state registry
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a hospice aide, home health aide, or certified nursing assistant preferred
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with valid insurance
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned service area
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the role, including standing, bending, lifting, and use of transfer equipment

Pay Range

$20 - $24 USD
