JANITORIAL WORKER

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Janitor. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises.

Job location: 20 Hours daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 am

Applicant selected must:

Acquire an active complete BI from US Customs and Border Protection preferred.

Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation (BI) with the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Valid Driver’s License;

U.S. Citizen a plus but not mandatory (Must hold a BI with US Customs and Border Protection)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Keep inventory of all janitorial supplies and equipment.
• Order Janitorial supplies as needed.
• Vacuum and Shampoo Carpets
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Grout cleaning, spray buffing.
• Strip and apply new wax.
• Clean Walk-off mats.
• Empty wastebaskets and remove trash.
• Perform low and high dusting.
• Clean glass inside and outside.
• Clean/disinfect small exercise room and equipment.
• Clean/disinfect drinking fountains and sinks.
• Perform spot cleaning.
• Sweep and damp mop restrooms, locker room, shower floor.
• clean supply room.
• Clean utility closets.
• Apply floor finish to vinyl floors.
• Clean appliances.
• Clean Light fixtures.
• Dust venetian blinds and windowsills.
• Sweep sidewalks, parking loading dock area.
• Grounds trash removal.
• Grounds keeping-weed control for small area,

Other duties as assigned.

Experience with floor cleaning preferred:

Physical Requirements:

• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials weighing up to 40
