Substitute Teacher

Per-Diem Teacher Substitutes

All certification areas needed - applications accepted continuously.

Certified - must possess a valid NYS teaching certification

Classroom teaching experience

All positions must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education before employment processing (see attached)

Salary: $140 for certified substitutes

Non-certified applicants for teaching substitute positions should have at minimum:

• Bachelor's degree
• Classroom teaching experience
• Will only be allowed to work for 40 days/year per NYS Education Law.

Salary for non-certified substitutes: $120/day - NON-CERTIFIED SUBS SHOULD APPLY UNDER JOB # - Non Certified Teacher

Note:

The district withholds the right to change substitute placements in the event of an emergency.
