Previous bartending or serving experience in an upscale restaurant environment is required.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in the food and beverage industry, particularly in an upscale restaurant setting. As a Bartender/Server, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional service to guests, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly and knowledgeable service while taking drink orders and answering questions about the menu.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS, while adhering to all cash handling procedures.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices are followed.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
• Participate in special events such as banquets or private parties as required.

Qualifications

• Must have restaurant bartending or serving experience
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive guest experience.
• Familiarity with retail math for managing cash transactions effectively.
• Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations.
