Reports To: Quality Manager
What You'll Do
As a Quality Inspector, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our commitment to quality by:
- Inspecting precision sheet metal and machined components to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Performing incoming material inspections to ensure purchased materials meet all purchase order and quality requirements.
- Preparing and completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) from customer and internal documentation.
- Utilizing a variety of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauge pins.
- Verifying flat patterns using Amada FabriVISION systems for laser and punch press operations.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining compliance with quality management standards.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience inspecting incoming and outgoing products to blueprint specifications.
- Ability to accurately use common inspection and measuring equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Training or experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and/or Optical Comparators.
- Experience creating and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Familiarity with AS9100D quality standards and audit processes.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and inspection techniques.
- Basic trigonometry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
