• Examine results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for examination as required.
• Keenly document all lab procedures, mentor new staff or students, and support the maintenance of laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe workplace and comply with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Attain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification throughout the duration of employment.
