Compensation ranges:

• Montessori teachers: $41,000 to $58,000 per year (based on experience)

Brief Position Descriptions:

• Montessori teacher: this full time position is available to individuals who have AMS, AMI or equivalent credential in Infant-Toddler or Early Childhood Education.

The role of the Montessori teacher:

Our Montessori teachers have a traditional lead role in the classroom. What may be different from your prior experiences are:

• Generally, there are two Montessori teachers in each classroom
• Many classrooms have faculty who are going through Montessori training and in their practicum
• We have a team model with an Associate/Assistant teacher or two in the class room
• We are a full day and year round program with a number of paid holidays each year in addition to paid time off accrued throughout the year
