Job Description:
- Operational Schedule/Shift Hours - if relevant: The schedule consists of a rotating shift that will begin at 5:00 AM and end at 5:30 PM
- Workweeks commence on Monday and finish on Sunday, during week one the days in which an individual must work are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with Wednesday free
- Days two and three of week two are Tuesday and Wednesday, with Monday serving as a day off and Thursday through Sunday occupying the remainder of the week
- For a period of two weeks, the median working hours for an employee amounts to 96 hours.
Compensation:
This position pays up to $32.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's level of expertise. There may be additional local incentives, like referral bonuses and increased pay for an extra week on the job.
General Purpose
The individual in this position has the responsibility of leading a group, troubleshooting, and delivering quick preventive and corrective Maintenance Junior Technician to production lines, as well as assisting in change-over.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Address equipment malfunctions expertly by examining the problem and performing necessary fixes.
- Revamp and deploy novel apparatus.
- One of the main responsibilities of mechanical engineers involves rebuilding and creating new components.
- Undertake facility maintenance duties and maintain a hygienic and safe work setting.
- Monitor Inventory Levels: Apart from placing new orders, it is necessary to monitor the inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock. This monitoring can be done through the use of inventory management software or manually.
- Follow all established procedures for documenting and tracking the progress and completion of work orders.
- Facilitate the replacement of machinery and the adjustment of assembly lines.
Qualifications:
- The fundamental requirement for this job is a High School diploma or its equivalent.
- The preferred educational requirement for this job is a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field.
- A minimum of 0-5 years of industrial maintenance experience is mandatory for this job opening.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of mechanical and electrical experience.
- Candidates who have experience with diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Former work in a rapid industry context.
- Exhibited a high level of skill in mechanical and technical areas.
- Basic computer skills.
- The capability to comply with the maker's specifications and blueprints.
- Having some background in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) would be helpful.
- It might be mandatory to provide hand tools.
