Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Change bed linens and towels according to hotel standards.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and linens in guest rooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service.
• Uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• A commitment to providing exceptional service within the hospitality industry.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
