Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interactions.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel management software such as OPERA or similar systems.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
  • Assist guests with special requests, reservations, and room changes while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details in compliance with hotel policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is highly valued.
  • Proficiency with hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable software.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse situations professionally.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, facilitating communication with international guests.
  • Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively.
  • Experience working in resort environments or with hospitality management enhances your suitability for this role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support 24/7 hotel operations.
