As a Security Officer Armed Driver Mobile Patrol based in Toledo, OH, you'll support daily operations at a community-focused public location where visibility, reliability, and integrity matter.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

This is an armed and driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while working as part of a team.

### A day in this role

You will provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. You will respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal policies. Regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter are part of the job, and you will document observations, incidents, and unusual activity and communicate with supervisors, clients, and/or emergency personnel as needed.

### Qualifications and requirements

An armed guard card and/or license is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Applicants will also be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participation in industry-specific security training programs is required. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
