Optometrist (NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS)

The Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine seeks an optometrist to join a comprehensive eye care division. Predictable hours – no evenings or weekends

Limited call – phone-only, less than four weeks annually

Advanced technology – Cirrus, HVF3, Pentacam, pachymeter, iCare, autorefractor, Zeiss FORUM Viewer, and Epic EMR

Collaborative team – work alongside cornea and oculoplastic specialists, optometrists, and an on-site optical shop

Schedule: 3–4 clinic days per week, plus administrative/academic time

Clinic Hours: 7:30 AM–12:00 PM; 1:00 PM–4:00 PM (closed weekends)

Patient Volume: 15–20 adult patients daily, every 20–30 minutes

Comprehensive ocular evaluations, diabetic eye exams, dry eye, cataracts, glaucoma, Plaquenil screenings, urgent triage, postoperative co-management, and prescribing glasses/contact lenses
