Property Manager -5+ Year Property Management Experience Required

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties across Western New York. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of property management, and the ability to foster positive relationships with tenants. This role requires a proactive approach to property leasing, maintenance coordination, and compliance with legal regulations.

Duties

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Handle tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of property activities, including lease agreements and tenant communications.
• Utilize AppFolio software for data entry, tracking lease agreements, and managing tenant information.
• Implement effective strategies to maximize occupancy rates and rental income.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws governing property management.
• Coordinate maintenance requests with maintenance team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Develop marketing strategies to attract potential tenants and promote available properties.

Skills

• Proficient in data entry with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Strong phone etiquette to communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of property leasing processes and best practices.
• Familiarity with legal aspects related to property management and leasing agreements.
• Experience using AppFolio or similar property management software is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in an office setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with tenants and team members.
