Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a growing manufacturing organization, located in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking a motivated and ambitious Accounting Analyst to join its finance team. Summary: This newly created position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with operations and leadership to drive financial performance and business improvement. The client offers salary and strong benefits, 401(k) plan, and discretionary bonus depending on performance. This position will be on site full-time, flexibility when needed. Duties:
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, and production variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Develop financial models, reports, and performance metrics
- Monitor key operational and financial KPIs
- Partner with operations, purchasing, and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Support internal and external audits
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Participate in special projects, capital expenditure analysis, and ad hoc reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- 2-5 years of accounting, financial analysis
- Manufacturing, cost accounting, or inventory accounting experience is a plus
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
