Position: Friendly, Compassionate, In-Home Caregivers Needed in Awendaw, SC
Visiting Angels, America’s Choice in Homecare, is seeking In Home Aides, both CNAs and experienced caregivers in Dorchester, Berkeley and Charleston Counties. The role involves providing personal one‑on‑one care to clients, working part‑time including days, evenings, weekends, or overnights. The position is an ongoing need.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
- Medication reminders
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
- Prepare light meals according to dietary restrictions
- Transportation to and from shops, pharmacy or appointments
- Perform light housekeeping duties for the client
- Be a pleasant, engaging, and supportive companion
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, working vehicle, commuting required, and current, up‑to‑date insurance
- Must adhere to plans of care for client
- Must have flexibility with schedules per client needs
- One year of in‑home caregiver experience preferred
- Must have good communication skills, active listening, and ability to interact with clients, families, and staff
- Must be calm in emergent situations and inform staff of any changes to client status
- Pass background and drug screening
Skills
- One year proven experience as an in‑home caregiver (preferred)
- Knowledge and demonstration of DME such as Hoyer lift, wheelchairs, transfer bench, walker (training is available)
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response, CPR preferred
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
NO CNA LICENSE REQUIRED!
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
