Schedule: This position is for part‑time days with rotating weekends. Shift time: Assists in the technical and clerical aspects of the Laboratory department.
Manages collection, acceptance, receipt and processing of all specimens into the Laboratory department(s).
Performs specimen collection (e.g., Completes computerized registration of patient samples using Laboratory Information System (LIS).
Completes basic quality control steps (e.g., sterility testing, new lot qualification) and performs reagent and disposable inventory management tasks.
Training and certification in phlebotomy or prior phlebotomy experience is required.
