JOB TITLE:

Home Health Aide [STNA, CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP/DODD]

SCHEDULE TYPE:

Weekend Shifts (Saturdays + Sundays)

  • 2-day weekend availability is required.
  • If additional hours are desired, employee will be given first priority of weekday cases to quickly secure full desired hours per week.

LOCATION:

Jackson County, Ohio

  • Willingness to travel to clients throughout the county and/or up to at least a 30-minute radius (from your home) is required

  • Up to 45- or 60-minute client travel radius (from your home) is highly desired but not required.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:

Part-Time or Full-Time (FT is optional if desired / not required)

  • Exact Hours per week will be determined prior to start (based on your availability and client needs)
  • Weekly pay (on Fridays) including paid onboarding and training.
  • This is a long-term employment opportunity.

COMPENSATION: $15 - $19 per hour

Pay Rate based on certifications, experience, schedule and travel availability, work history, references, and overall fit.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly-skilled, compassionate, and professional Home Health Aide (STNA, CNA, DSP highly desired | experienced HHA, CHHA, PCA, will also be considered) to join our home health agency and provide hands‑on personal care and support to clients in Jackson County and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Support safe use of assistive devices (walkers, wheelchairs, lifts)
  • Nutrition & Meal Support
  • Homemaking & Environmental Support (IADLs) including light housekeeping, errands, and tasks required to maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
  • Community Engagement & Appointment Support, Coordination, and (in approved situations) Transportation
  • Basic Health and Safety Monitoring
  • Care Plan Implementation
  • Dementia & Behavioral Support (if applicable)
  • Pro‑active observation and excellent electronic documentation
  • Client Rights, Dignity & Confidentiality
  • Total Care Team Collaboration
  • Ongoing Training & Certification Requirements

Schedule Options

  • Primary:

Saturdays and Sundays (Weekends)

  • Additional Weekday shifts / additional clients may be available for additional hours
  • Part-Time minimum schedule of 16 hours/wk required | Full-Time desired
  • Local travel within Jackson County | Expanded cases/hours may include adjacent Counties (not required)

Requirements / Non‑Negotiables

  • Minimum of 1 year paid in‑home care or caregiving experience (STNA/CNA certification in lieu of experience will be considered)
  • Successful completion of all agency‑provided HHA/PCA orientation, skills tests and competency evaluations.
  • Willingness and timely compliance to maintain all ongoing Training & Certification Requirements
  • Active CPR + FA certification and documentation of both (+ proof/documentation of both readily available)
  • Medication Administration Certification is highly preferred
  • Willing and able to regularly perform all physical demands of home care (including lifting/carrying up to 30–50 lbs. occasionally).

  • Possess above‑basic computer and mobile device proficiency. Experience with modern EMR/EHRs is a plus.
  • Must adhere to Individual rights protections (Ohio Bill of Rights for individuals with DD), Confidentiality (HIPAA compliance), and Mandatory reporting laws (abuse, neglect, exploitation)
  • Must maintain professionalism with individuals, families, and care teams
