Little Ones Learning Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who understands how to create a structured, engaging classroom that prepares children for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead teacher in a Pre-K classroom
  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred
  • Knowledge of Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards
  • Understanding of kindergarten readiness skills, including early literacy, math, social-emotional development, and classroom routines
  • Experience creating and implementing lesson plans independently
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with families and coworkers
  • Ability to maintain compliance with Ohio child care licensing regulations

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support kindergarten readiness
  • Assess children's progress and communicate development with families
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Maintain daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom documentation
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
  • Collaborate with administration and teaching staff to ensure high-quality programming
