Little Ones Learning Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Pre-K Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an educator who understands how to create a structured, engaging classroom that prepares children for a successful transition to kindergarten.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a lead teacher in a Pre-K classroom
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA preferred
- Knowledge of Ohio's Early Learning and Development Standards
- Understanding of kindergarten readiness skills, including early literacy, math, social-emotional development, and classroom routines
- Experience creating and implementing lesson plans independently
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with families and coworkers
- Ability to maintain compliance with Ohio child care licensing regulations
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support kindergarten readiness
- Assess children's progress and communicate development with families
- Create a positive, nurturing, and well-managed classroom environment
- Maintain daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom documentation
- Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Collaborate with administration and teaching staff to ensure high-quality programming
