Director of Pulmonary Services (Respiratory Therapy) – 13-Week Contract

Location: Cambridge, MA

Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Potential Extension)

Candidate Type: Local & Travel Accepted ( local with local rate)

Radius Rule: 50 Miles

Schedule

• Shift: Days
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Shift Length: 8 Hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Requirements

• Previous Director/Management experience required
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Respiratory Care
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Current Massachusetts Respiratory License
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• BLS & ACLS required at submission
• NRP preferred
• Strong Acute Care & Critical Care experience required
• Experience with:
• Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
• Blood Gas Lab
• Sleep Lab/Polysomnography
• Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
• EEG
• Neonatal Respiratory Care experience preferred
• Must be able to travel between Cambridge, Everett, and Somerville campuses

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Pulmonary Services departments
• Oversee Respiratory Care, PFT Lab, Blood Gas Lab, Sleep Lab, and Cardiopulmonary Rehab
• Ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance
• Manage departmental operations, staff, and quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple hospital sites
