Job Description:
- Operational Hours/Shift Rotation - if applicable: The schedule involves a rotation of shifts that will start at 5:00 AM and conclude at 5:30 PM
- Week one consists of six working days, taking place on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while Wednesday is a day off
- Tuesday and Wednesday comprise days two and three of the second week, with Monday being a day off and Thursday through Sunday finishing out the remainder of the week
- For a period of two weeks, the median working hours for an employee amounts to 96 hours.
Compensation:
This employment opportunity pays up to $32.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's experience. There are additional local rewards available, such as referral bonuses and an extra week's worth of salary.
General Purpose
The individual in this role is responsible for managing a team, troubleshooting production line problems, and offering quick preventive and corrective General Maintenance Technician, while also assisting in change-over procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively and implement corrective actions.
- Revamp and deploy novel apparatus.
- Reconstructing and building parts from raw materials is crucial for ensuring that machines and systems remain operational.
- Keep the facility in good condition and ensure a tidy and secure working environment.
- Determine the Inventory Levels: After creating the list of parts needed, it is important to decide on the optimal levels of inventory required for each part. This can be determined by studying the sales trends and the average lead time required to procure the parts.
- Carry out all aspects of the work order specifications provided to ensure that requirements are fully met.
- Undertake the modification of machines and the arrangement of production systems.
Qualifications:
- The fundamental requirement for this job is a High School diploma or its equivalent.
- The most suitable educational qualification for this position is a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field.
- The successful candidate should have between 0-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Having one year of mechanical and electrical experience would be advantageous for a candidate.
- The ideal candidate will have a background in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
- Work history in a fast-paced industrial sector.
- Demonstrated familiarity with mechanical and technical operations.
- Basic computer skills.
- The proficiency to meet the manufacturer's specifications and drawings accurately.
- Having some background in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) would be helpful.
- It may be necessary to furnish hand tools.
