Palms Associates is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician for their Lakefield Mews Apartments community in Richmond, VA. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heat pumps. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heat pumps.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Install heat pumps.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on HVAC experience is REQUIRED.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot, repair, and install heat pumps.
• Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience.
• Well-rounded general maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, etc.).
• Proactive problem-solver with strong initiative.
• Collaborative team player who works well in a skilled crew environment.
• Technologically proficient, comfortable using MS Office 365 and a personal mobile device.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• A professional who values integrity and long-term employment commitment.
• Valid Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling (preferred — willing to certify you!)
