Compensation: $1,300 AUD/month

Work Schedule: This is a remote role supporting a 24/7 transport operation. Shifts will rotate across different schedules to ensure continuous coverage. The client is currently restructuring operations to improve staff retention, productivity, and work-life balance, with plans to move away from extended 12 hour / 7 day schedules. Candidates must be flexible and comfortable working rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.

The client is an Australian transport and logistics company operating a 24/7 freight and dispatch business. They manage driver coordination, equipment tracking, and time sensitive delivery requests. The business is currently rebuilding its operations team after issues with missed jobs and poor follow up, with a focus on improving responsiveness, communication, and overall dispatch efficiency. They are expanding their remote support team with Filipino talent to strengthen round the clock coverage and operational reliability.
About the Role
The Operations Support / Dispatch Monitor role is a full time remote position responsible for supporting live dispatch operations. You will follow up with drivers via WhatsApp and mobile phone calls to monitor job progress, respond quickly to incoming client requests, and ensure all tasks are properly coordinated and completed on time. Strong written English and fast response time are critical since jobs are often allocated to the first responder. The role requires someone highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast paced 24/7 logistics environment with rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor active transport and dispatch operations across assigned shifts
Ensure drivers are completing equipment checks prior to arriving at customer sites
Conduct regular phone and WhatsApp driver follow ups and check ins
Track driver activity, job progress, and delivery updates
Perform equipment and operational status checks
Respond quickly to incoming client job requests via email and group chat platforms
Coordinate dispatch updates and ensure tasks are actioned promptly
Escalate operational issues, delays, or concerns when necessary
Maintain accurate records of communications, dispatch updates, and task progress
Ensure operational instructions are followed correctly by drivers and contractors
Support the operations team in minimizing missed jobs and service delays
Assist with improving dispatch processes and operational workflows
Handle ad hoc operational and administrative tasks as required
