As an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic, you'll provide essential care and respond to all EMS and First Aid needs while adhering to our strict guidelines. Candidates must hold a valid license from the Georgia State Office of EMS/Trauma as either EMT-I, AEMT, or EMR.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medical care and transportation services for our staff and guests.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of First Aid equipment and facilities.
  • Accurately document and maintain medical records, including First Aid reports.
  • Conduct safety inspections across the park in collaboration with the safety manager.
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions.
  • Uphold standards of image, cleanliness, and courtesy at all times.
  • Avoid any substance that could impair judgment.
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and positive working relationships.
  • Address and resolve guests' concerns with professionalism.
  • Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.

Compensation:

  • EMT Pay Rate: $19.50/hr
  • Paramedic Pay Rate: $21.50/hr

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Maintain active National Registry certifications (EMT-P, EMT-I, EMT-CT).
  • Possess and keep a valid park driving permit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Capable of functioning effectively in a noisy environment with visual stimuli.
  • Ability to sustain energy and perform duties throughout your shift.
  • Read and comprehend small print and calculate weights and volumes under time constraints.
  • Proficient in English speaking and comprehension.
  • Adept at interviewing patients, families, and bystanders appropriately.
  • Skilled in documenting relevant information accurately.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and manage medical equipment over 75 pounds.
  • Capable of walking, running, bending, stooping, and crawling on varied terrain.
  • Able to work in diverse environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and humidity.
  • Perform EMS and occupational functions as required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
