Upscale High Volume Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy shifts. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering settings is highly desirable.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders accurately, and responding to inquiries.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties efficiently while maintaining accurate records of transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders during events or busy periods.
• Utilize basic math skills for drink preparation measurements and cash transactions.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
• Stay updated on current beverage trends, including brewing techniques and cocktail recipes, to enhance the guest experience.

Experience

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Experience in retail math and cash handling is required for accurate transaction processing.
