Furniture Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

This is a working position, not a driving-only role.

Overview

We are a family-owned furniture company seeking a dependable and hard-working Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role involving both warehouse operations and in-home furniture delivery.

This position is best suited for individuals who are reliable, take pride in their work, and are comfortable with consistent physical labor.

Schedule

• Start time: 8:00 AM
• End time: Typically 5:00 PM or when deliveries are completed
• Workweek: 5 days per week with 2 scheduled days off
• Closed Sundays
• Overtime paid for hours worked over 40 per week

Compensation

• $15.00/hour starting pay
• Increase to $16.00/hour after successful completion of introductory period
• Introductory period: 60 days + remainder of the current month

Performance-Based Bonuses

• $15 per completed delivery stop
• $0.50 per box moved (warehouse production bonus)

Earnings Transparency

Total weekly earnings vary based on workload and performance:

• Typical range: $600–$900/week
• Higher-volume weeks may exceed this range with overtime and deliveries
• Lower-volume weeks may be closer to base hourly earnings

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture safely and professionally to customers’ homes
• Load, unload, and stage furniture in the warehouse
• Communicate delivery timing with customers
• Provide professional, respectful customer service
• Follow all driver safety procedures and perform pre-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness of trucks and work areas
• Complete delivery and inventory paperwork accurately
• Assist with pulling and organizing inventory

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• Box truck experience preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and handle 100+ lbs regularly
• Strong attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Basic math and communication skills
