Join our dynamic team as an Account Manager in Pharmacy Benefit Management! This key role is essential for supporting Brokers and Consultants during the post-sale phase, ensuring a smooth transition from acquisition to a lasting partnership with our clients. Whether you prefer remote work or collaboration at our Birmingham, AL headquarters, this role includes a travel requirement of up to 50%.

Essential Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Client Engagement: You will be the lead contact for assigned clients, working closely with the Strategic Account Executive (SAE) to foster positive relationships and ensure client satisfaction throughout the account lifecycle.
  • Client Consultation: Provide insightful consultations on industry fundamentals, key mail-piece designs, and facilitate facility tours.
  • Client Awareness: Understand your client's organization, products, and any changes. Maintain and update client records and ensure proper billing procedures are followed.
  • Order Facilitation: Prepare orders accurately and on time, oversee implementation work orders, and generate essential reports.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with plan rules, benefits, and conduct analysis on utilization reports to recommend necessary plan changes.
  • Project Leadership: Lead special projects and manage current benefit trends while preparing detailed audits and census data.
  • Communication: Prepare and review written communications, including renewal spreadsheets and claims experience reports. Keep clients informed of our value-added services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Attend client reviews to document discussions and follow up on action items, ensuring goals are met or exceeded.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with SAE on problem resolution and contribute to developing training materials and job aids.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in the Health/Pharmacy industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • In-depth knowledge of Employee Benefits insurance, with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

This role offers an anticipated hiring range of $56,800-$71,000 annually, with final compensation based on experience and qualifications. You will also be eligible for short-term incentives that vary based on individual and business goals.
