About the Role

FleetPride is seeking a Diesel Technician III — a senior-level technician with the experience and confidence to diagnose, repair, and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues independently. This role supports medium- and heavy-duty equipment, including tractors, trailers, and box trucks, in a high-volume shop environment.

As a Level III technician, you’ll be trusted with advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, and mentoring of junior technicians — without being tied to nights or weekends.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of diesel technician experience (MD/HD preferred)
  • Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs with minimal supervision
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other technicians
  • Strong communication with service managers, writers, and customers
  • Ability to provide your own tools and toolbox
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • CDL A or B preferred (not required)
  • Safety-focused, detail-oriented, and highly efficient work ethic

Advanced Technical Expertise

  • Electrical diagnostics & schematic interpretation
  • Advanced air brake systems
  • Brakes, wheel ends, and suspension
  • Steering & alignment
  • Cooling and A/C systems
  • Drivetrain diagnostics & repairs
  • Transmissions, clutches, differentials
  • Aftertreatment systems (DPF, DEF, SCR)
  • Upper & lower engine work
  • OEM diagnostic software familiarity
  • DOT inspections and compliance

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
