Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules.
• Oversee procurement processes including construction estimating, contract negotiations, and managing subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality work.
• Utilize construction management software.
• Manage project budgets by controlling costs, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost management strategies to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with all construction regulations and safety standards while coordinating site activities to maintain a safe work environment.
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide on-site activities and verify that work aligns with design specifications.
• Supervise on-site teams by managing daily operations, resolving issues promptly, and fostering effective communication among stakeholders.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project plans; address any issues proactively.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project flow from start to finish.

Experience

• Proven experience managing complex residential new construction projects with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Minimum 5 years experience.
• Hands-on experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, contracts management, and schematic interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high safety standards.
• Strong understanding of construction regulatory compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a demanding setting.
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols along with experience managing site logistics and coordination efforts.
