Machinist

Crux Subsurface, a Quanta Services company, is hiring a Machinist for our shop in Spokane Valley, WA. This is an in-house shop focused on prototype and custom component work — not high-volume production. You'll set up and operate CNC and manual machines, build custom parts to print and spec, and work primarily with mild steel, alloys, and aluminum in support of our geotechnical and foundation construction equipment.

What we're looking for

• 1+ year CNC experience in a professional shop setting (2–3 preferred
• CNC lathe setup including program loading, tool touch-off, and jaw boring
• Blueprint reading including weld symbols and tolerances
• Proficiency in basic G&M code
• Forklift experience
• Preferred: MasterCam experience or certification
• Preferred: Experience with alloys and aluminum
