Hiring for Residential Waste Control Helpers Bilingual a Plus

Okie Staffing is hiring General Labor Workers / Refuse Helpers for a residential trash collection route. This is a physically demanding outdoor position that requires dependability, stamina, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

The Refuse Helper will ride on the back of a residential garbage truck and assist with collecting household trash along assigned routes. Candidates must be comfortable working around waste, moving quickly, lifting repeatedly, and following safety procedures.

Job Duties

Ride along with the refuse truck on residential routes

Pick up and throw household garbage into the truck

Lift, carry, push, and pull trash containers as needed

Work safely around moving vehicles, equipment, and traffic

Communicate with the driver and crew throughout the route

Keep pace with the route and complete assigned stops

Follow company safety rules and proper lifting procedures

Maintain a professional attitude while working in neighborhoods
