Dental Assistant with experience for a modern office

Our private general dental practice in Honolulu is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Chairside Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, technology-driven office that values quality dentistry, teamwork, and a positive work environment.

We are currently seeking a candidate with at least 1 year of dental office experience who is available to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care
• Welcome, seat, and prepare patients for dental treatment
• Assist the doctor during procedures with suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient care
• Sterilize and organize instruments following OSHA and infection control protocols
• Take digital scans and assist with laboratory procedures for crowns, bridges, dentures, aligners, nightguards, and other dental appliances
• Fabricate and adjust temporary restorations as needed
• Chart and document treatment accurately in patient records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the office and clinical areas
• Help monitor dental supplies and equipment maintenance
• Support team operations and contribute to a positive office environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with digital dentistry, scanners, and Eaglesoft is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
