Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Home Care

L & E Helping Hands, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing home care team. This position involves traveling from client to client to provide quality, one-on-one care in the comfort of their homes.

Pay: Starting at $17.50 per hour

Schedule

• 8–12 hour shifts
• Full-time and Part-time opportunities available
• Monday–Friday with weekend availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Travel between multiple client homes during the workday

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA License
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance
• Must be able to pass a drug test
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening
• Must have a TB test completed within the last 6 months
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Requirements

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required; current state licensure preferred.
• Prior experience working in long-term care facilities, hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), assisted living communities, or home care settings is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification is essential.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner is advantageous; familiarity with medical documentation standards is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs; experience in dementia or memory care is a plus.
• Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate attitude toward patient care; physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
• Ability to adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records at all times.
