Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team at Garden of Eden Assisted Living Facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support, managing communications, and assisting with various tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and residents.

Duties

  • Help with departmental audits.
  • Maintain quality and accurate records.
  • Ensure paperwork and reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Make sure all records are protected and kept confidential.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Supply the ALP department with the appropriate documents and forms.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and workflow.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Home care experience required.

  • Proven experience as a Clerk, Office Assistant, or in another relevant administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Physical requirements:

o Ability to sit for extended periods.

o Occasionally lift office supplies up to 20 pounds.

  • Be a minimum of 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Satisfactory Criminal History and Background check.
