MGR Property Management is a large management company in Southern California managing HOAs, residential, and commercial properties. MGR is a family owned and operated business since 1983 with a strong and diverse team reaching from Barstow to San Diego.

We are currently looking to add a Community Association Manager for a portfolio of communities. The ideal candidate would be organized, work well with a team and independently, and have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Job Roles and Duties:

The Community Association Manager is responsible for the successful management of their community. This may include, but is not limited :

  • Communicating effectively with homeowners and board members to ensure that pertinent items are being addressed
  • Prepare and distribute board packets to include management reports, meeting agendas, business of the board, minutes, etc.
  • Coordinate vendor bids, present bids to the board, oversee completion of contracted work, and ensure completion of the approved scope of work
  • Oversee budget expenditures, reserve studies, and general budget management
  • Collect and maintain all documents for the communities, including governing documents, homeowner registries, minutes, etc.
  • Perform inspections of the properties to ensure completion of work from the vendors and compliance of the governing documents from the homeowners
  • Send violation letters for homeowners out of compliance and follow the enforcement procedure of the community, up to hearings if required
  • Coordinate effectively with assistant managers, accounting, and other members of the management team
  • Other items as needed for the successful management of the portfolio of communities

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks with urgency
  • Experience in property management, with a desire to learn and grow in the industry
  • Ability to drive to properties and perform inspections
  • Appfolio experience preferred, but not required

Additional Compensation:

  • Additional bonus program
  • Certification sponsorship (CCAM) after 6 months of employment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,500.00 - $65,000.00 per year
