About Snorkel

At Snorkel, we believe meaningful AI doesn’t start with the model, it starts with the data.

We’re on a mission to help enterprises transform expert knowledge into specialized AI at scale. The AI landscape has gone through incredible changes since 2015, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Strategy Operations Manager to help run Snorkel's rapidly scaling Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) business. DaaS Operations is the centralized Strategy Operations team reporting into the Head of Strategy and Operations, partnering across Supply, Delivery, GTM, Innovation, Finance, and Engineering to keep the business running with rigor and scaling efficiently as complexity grows.

In this role, you will move fluidly across the most important problems in the business — operating cadences and planning cycles, capacity and supply planning, project execution and quality, customer outcomes, and the new operating functions we are standing up as DaaS scales. You will own end-to-end workstreams that don't have a clear home, build the operating systems behind them, and partner closely with the leaders of each function to turn strategy into measurable execution.

This is a high-impact role suited for a strong operator who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to fast-moving environments, and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

What You'll Do

Partner with leaders across DaaS — Supply, Delivery, GTM, Innovation, Finance, and Engineering — to bring operational clarity, execution rigor, and alignment to their highest-priority initiatives

Own the operating cadence of the business — weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews — and ensure goals, metrics, and reporting tell a clear story to leadership

Drive cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, especially the ones that span multiple teams or sit in the gaps between them

Lead annual planning and quarterly business review inputs across DaaS, translating strategic priorities into structured operating plans and measurable milestones

Diagnose performance issues across the business — capacity, quality, throughput, customer outcomes, cost — and partner with the right function to fix them

Step in to own ambiguous workstreams or new problem areas as they emerge, and drive them to outcomes

Improve operational processes and build durable systems that reduce friction and increase throughput as the business scales

Identify execution risks early and proactively surface trade-offs to leadership

Serve as a thought partner and executor to DaaS leadership and adjacent teams

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or similar roles

Experience partnering closely with operational leaders in high-growth or complex environments

Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver outcomes end-to-end

Strong analytical skills with comfort using data to inform decisions and track performance

Ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problem spaces

Proven track record of influencing without authority

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders

Strong prioritization skills and bias toward action

Comfortable operating in imperfect systems while building scalable processes

Entrepreneurial mindset with high ownership and accountability

Bonus Points

Experience in services, marketplace, or data-driven businesses

Exposure to delivery, operations, or workforce-based execution models

Experience supporting planning cycles and executive reporting

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Snorkel also includes benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range $130,000-$200,000
