Role Description The Administrative Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Seal Beach, CA. This position is responsible for managing daily accounting activities, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and supporting the preparation of financial statements. The role involves processing invoices, tracking payments, handling basic bookkeeping tasks, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial records. The Administrative Accountant will collaborate with management to provide analytical support, assist with budgeting and expense tracking, and help maintain compliance with internal policies. This team member will also support various administrative tasks, such as organizing financial documentation, responding to internal inquiries, and coordinating with external vendors when needed.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and recording daily transactions.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Financial Statements, including assisting with preparation, review, and reporting.
  • Candidates should possess Invoicing skills, including processing vendor and customer invoices and monitoring payment status.
  • Candidates should possess Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data and support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency with Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or accounting support role is beneficial.
