Job Title: (CSSNA) Welder

Duration: 12 Months (temp-to-hire)

Location: Henderson, CO 80640,

Schedule: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Pay Rate: $22.74/hr on W2

Set-up, operate, or tend welding, soldering, or brazing machines.

Responsibilities include

Interpret shop drawings/blueprints

Read a tape measure accurately

Set up MIG/MP welding machines

Perform GMAW/FCAW welding (MIG and Flux-Core) on Mild Steel

Use power tools (drill, impact driver, angle grinder, etc.)

Apply basic construction skills

Work safely from ladders and scissor lifts, wearing fall protection

Wear a respirator when required

Key Responsibilities

Understand basic welding processes (gas metal arc, plasma arc, resistance welding)

Apply design techniques, tools, and principles to produce precision plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments

Monitor welding processes to avoid overheating, warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion

Examine workpieces for defects; measure with straightedges or templates for accuracy

Set up and operate hand and power tools common to welding trade

Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques

Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
