Job Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist plays a critical role in delivering a positive employee experience through the accurate administration of payroll, benefits, and employee records while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance. This position serves as a trusted HR resource, ensuring operational excellence, data integrity, and responsive employee support that contributes directly to organizational success.

Duties/Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Administer and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee and payroll records in HRIS systems.
  • Help provide positive employee experience including timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and process employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and employment changes.
  • Respond to employee inquiries as well as provide guidance on HR policies, benefit programs, and procedures.
  • Support HR projects and continuous improvement efforts related to systems, processes, and employee programs.
  • Respond to requests from outside parties such as third-party benefit and payroll providers, state regulatory boards, and tax filings; as appropriate.

Required Skills/Abilities/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience responsible for payroll and benefits administration.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable payroll laws.
  • Proficiency with payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Strong understanding of ADP/Workforce Now/Time & Attendance

Other Notables:

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Self-starter

Work environment:

  • Manufacturing facility, standing or sitting for extended periods, Exposure to noise from machinery.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
