Job Summary
An opportunity to be part of a uniquely Eugene institution. Surata Soyfoods has been manufacturing certified organic, sustainable food products for over 44 years. We now have opening for a worker to participate in the creation of the nations best Tofu and Tempeh.
Position Starts at $16.50. Raises are automatically given based on hours worked, with merit raises when applicable. 5 days paid vacation per year,, medical and dental offered if position becomes full time.
About 30+available hours per week. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Position is basic food packaging and processing. This entails lifting bending, putting together machinery, some scrubbing/cleaning and general creation of the product on the production floor.
Must be able to lift about 60 pounds. Must be able to work independently , be reliable, and have an ability to pay attention to detail. Some repetitive work involved. Basic understanding of food safety is helpful but not necessary.
Walk ins apply in person at, 325 west 3rd (Northwest corner of 3rd and Lincoln), between the hours of 10:00 and 2:00 Monday through Thursday.
