Entry Level Accountant

We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join a transport-focused organization in Georgetown, Kentucky. This position supports core accounting operations by helping maintain accurate records, preparing financial data, and contributing to month-end activities. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong Excel capabilities, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly.Responsibilities:• Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries and assisting with timely completion of accounting tasks.• Perform bank account reviews and reconcile general ledger balances to ensure financial records are accurate.• Analyze fluctuations in financial results, identify key drivers, and summarize findings for stakeholders.• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including specialized invoice handling and revenue-related calculations.• Help prepare and review financial statement information to promote accuracy and completeness in reporting.• Maintain organized, detailed documentation of accounting work, reconciliations, and supporting records.• Communicate accounting results, issues, and updates clearly to team members and business partners.
