Material Handler

Summary

As a Material Handler, you will be essential in managing the flow of materials within our Warehouse. Your core skills in materials handling will be complemented by your premium expertise in operating forklifts and ensuring efficient order picking and shipping. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and organized workspace. Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge of OSHA regulations will be vital as you handle heavy lifting and utilize warehouse management systems. Duties & Responsibilities (Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following):

• Pulling components and staging them.
• Breaking down wrapping and storing pallets.
• Cycle counting components/raw materials.
• Pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Filling out appropriate component documentation.
• Organizing and maintaining the warehouse area.
• General warehousing and facility maintenance.
• Safely operating a forklift and/or stand-up lift truck.
• May be assigned other tasks by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Computer skills required to complete material transactions.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately In English and Spanish.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Previous Material Handling experience preferred.
• Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
