Regional Accountant

Position: Regional Accountant I

Responsibilities

• Promote good public relations and customer service among Assemblies of God World Missions (AGWM) Financial Services staff and all individuals having business with this office.
• Assist with the financial services staff assigned to region to comply with polices of National Office and AGWM policies.
• Give counsel and guidance on complex and sensitive issues involved in the financial activities of the region.
• Continually strive to streamline the work flow process consulting with manager regarding feasibility and conformity to audit controls, IRS regulations, AGWM.
• Become familiar and gain expertise with all related AGWM computer programs.
• Maintain and monitor individual, ministry and work accounts, including opening and closing of accounts.
• Process various reports.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all sensitive areas.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree (or equivalent experience) required.
• Supervisory experience helpful.
• PC Skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• General office skills.
• Accounting and bookkeeping skills.
• Data entry.
• Customer service.
