Job Location: Dallas, TX (Farmers Branch area), 100% on-site

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time

Pay Rate: $70-$80/hr.

Must-Haves:

• Current or previous Controller
• Property accounting experience
• Yardi
• Budgeting process experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Greatly preferred:

• Corporate Accounting experience

Preferred:

• Development accounting
• Treasury experience

Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Temporary Controller to support both the Corporate and Project Accounting teams during a key leadership transition. In this highly visible role, you will oversee a variety of accounting functions including property accounting, budgeting, CAM reconciliations, lease accounting, development accounting, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact within a collaborative commercial real estate organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support corporate and property accounting operations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Review and oversee CAM reconciliations and lease accounting.
• Support development accounting and project-related financial activities.
• Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Partner with accounting leadership on special projects and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Provide general Controller-level support across multiple accounting functions.

Must-Haves:

• Current or previous Controller
• Property accounting experience
• Yardi
• Budgeting process experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
