Home Health Aide & Caregiver

Position Summary

A Home Health Aide/ Caregiver provides non‑medical support services that help clients remain safely in their homes. This role focuses on daily living assistance, companionship, and household support rather than clinical tasks.

Core Responsibilities

• IADL Support — meal prep, grocery shopping, errands, light housekeeping
• Companionship — conversation, social engagement, supervision for safety
• Medication Reminders — prompting only
• Transportation Assistance — appointments, community activities (if allowed)
• Home Organization — tidying, laundry, maintaining a safe environment
• Observation & Reporting — noting changes in mood, behavior, or condition
• Client Advocacy — supporting independence and respecting preferences

Qualifications

• No formal medical certification required
• Experience in caregiving preferred
• CPR/First Aid (recommended)
• Ability to lift 20–40 lbs.
• Background check and TB screening

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
