Journeyman Plumber(2+ years exp)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances on construction sites and during remodeling projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble and install plumbing components
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to leaks, blockages, or mechanical failures
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to ensure seamless project progress
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation

Experience

• Proven field experience in construction plumbing or related mechanical trades with a strong understanding of plumbing installation and repair processes
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, and the use of various hand tools and power tools in a construction environment
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and general mechanical principles related to plumbing systems
• Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, and handyman skills is preferred
• Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety standards including heavy lifting and site-specific protocols
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a plus but not required

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
